In light of ongoing and accelerating debt ceiling negotiations in Washington, two Florida Republicans in Congress are encouraging their Republican colleagues from Florida to stand with them in opposition to Medicare home health co-payments.
Reps. Rich Nugent (R-Spring Hill) and Tom Rooney (R-Tequesta) have asked their 17 fellow Republicans representing Florida to sign on to a letter to Speaker of the House John Boehner (R-Ohio) that urges consideration for alternatives to Medicare home health co-pays that would instead target fraud and abuse.
